Though we do not require a membership to use the facilities, membership does have its benefits. Membership gives one the sense of belonging to a community of like-minded individuals with similar interests. Members are more likely to spend time sharing their work with others, as well as getting involved in meaningful discourse with others in the community about the technical, artistic, cognitive, and social aspects of their work. We offer various memberships based on your needs.

Membership Options & Benefits
Yearly membership: $139

 •Use of darkrooms, alternative process equipment, print finishing equipment, and digital print station for only $10 per session.*
 •2 hours of studio use per month included. Additional studio rental at a discount.
 •5% discount on in-stock papers and chemistry.
 •Discount on workshops and seminars.
 •Bio and gallery entry on the PhotoSynthesis website.
 •Representation in an annual gallery show for yearly members only. You also have the option of hanging approved finished prints in our gallery between
 scheduled shows.


 Quarterly Membership: $79

Patron Membership: $30 per year

The patron membership is for those who enjoy and support photography and the arts, but do not practice it themselves.
Patron members receive notification by email and post, when applicable, about any gallery shows and special events
at PhotoSynthesis. Patrons' support of the arts is appreciated.


Membership fees are not refundable. Rates are subject to change without notice.


* A session is your time here on a given day, whether it's for one hour or eight hours, and covers all spaces with the
   exception of the shooting studio.
